Christopher Fox has a varied commercial litigation background and currently concentrates his practice in the areas of:

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS
- Successfully advocated for dismissal of complaint and ruling that mortgagors failed to state claim against bank for violation of the Bankruptcy Code's discharge injunction as there was no private right of action under the Code for alleged violation of discharge injunction. (Reported at: Townsend v. M&T Mortgage Corporation, 2010 WL 2573825 (M.D. Pa. 2010)
- Successfully secured federal court summary judgment against mortgagor that honored insurance check naming mortgagor as co-payees without mortgagee's consent. (Reported at Option One Mortgage Corporation v. Fitzgerald et al., 687 F.Supp. 2d 520 (M.D. Pa. 2009))
- Federal court granted motion to dismiss where borrower attempted to stall foreclosure by both transferring property and seeking injunctive relief against bank to halt foreclosure proceedings. (Reported at Pola Michaels v. Option One Mortgage, 2005 WL 1514228 (E.D. Pa. 2005)
- Federal court denied motion to dismiss mortgage lender's action against title insurer for alleged failure to timely record mortgage. (Reported at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Inc. v. The Security Title Guaranty Corporation of Baltimore and Fidelity Agency, Inc., 337 F.Supp. 2d 680 (E.D. Pa. 2004))
- Federal court granted Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's motion to dismiss, holding that the Commonwealth's claim was untimely and that court had no jurisdiction under Financial Institution Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act of 1989. (Reported at Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Environmental Protection v. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, 1997 WL 634495 (E.D. Pa. 1997))
- • Superior Court of Pennsylvania opened default judgment entered against bank in action which declared the bank's mortgage invalid. (Reported at F. Fusco v. Hill Financial Savings Association, 435 Pa.Super. 216, 683 A.2d 677 (1996))
- Federal Bankruptcy Court held after trial on debtor's adversary proceeding, that principles of accord and satisfaction required court to dismiss debtor's action and find in favor of the creditor. (Reported at Rittloft Corporation v. DeYoung Construction,1992 WL 12988 (E.D. Pa. 1992))
