BIOGRAPHY
Stephen Levin joined Lamm Rubenstone LLC in 2003. Steve is a Partner and a native of Philadelphia. Steve is a member of several ultra high IQ organizations including Mensa, Intertel and the International Society of Philadelphia Enquiry (ISPE), a think tank consisting of only 550 qualifying members worldwide. Steve also serves as its General Counsel and is a Diplomate of ISPE, its highest rank.
Steve currently serves on the board of the TAIG Foundation and other non-profit organizations.
Steve’s abiding respect for the creative process was the spark that ignited Stephen Levin’s lifelong passion for the arts. An avid photographer, his photographs have appeared in many publications.
It was a natural evolution for Steve to gravitate to the prosecution, protection and enforcement of the creative rights of individuals and companies in their intellectual property. In the trade secret, copyright and trademark matters he regularly attends to, Steve adds the passion and sensitivity that only the author and owner of intellectual property might contribute to this practice.

EXPERIENCE
Steve began his career as a Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney where he was assigned to every trial unit including homicide before leaving for private practice with Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen. This was followed by time in other private practice firms where he concentrated on and developed an expertise in commercial litigation, transactional law, intellectual property, Internet law, financial services and creditors’ rights.
Steve received a Duquesne University School of Law Teaching Fellowship for Legal Research and Writing and was an Editor of the Duquesne Law Review in 1973-1974. He is the author of a Case Comment, "Criminal Law-Evidence-Competency of Minor Witnesses-Obligation of Oath," 11 Duquesne Law Review 701 (1973), that had the distinction of being selected for reprinting in Physical, Emotional & Sexual Abuse of Children: The Multidisciplinary Literature 1932 to 1993, Garland Publishing, Inc. (1994). Steve is also the author of "General Maritime Law and The Wrongful Death Dilemma," 12Duquesne Law Review 891 (1974) and the co-author of: 'Floating' Forum Selection Clauses, The M/S Breman Afloat in the Wake of NorVergence, Law Journal Newsletters, Equipment Leasing, May, 2005. Steve has also been a frequent seminar speaker on topics related to his practice.
His reported cases include CAT Internet Services, Inc. v. Providence Washington Ins. Co., 333 F.3d 138 (3rd Cir. 2003) and Crestar Mortgage Corporation v. Shapiro, 937 F.Supp. 453 (E.D.Pa 1996).
