BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Mathews is currently Of Counsel for the Firm of Lamm Rubenstone LLC and continues his solo practice in the State of New Jersey.  He is married and lives in Allentown, Pennsylvania, although he maintains his law practice in Marlton, New Jersey. 

EXPERIENCE
Mr. Mathews is a former United States Magistrate Judge, and since 1983 has been Certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.  Mr. Mathews is a New Jersey Court approved mediator and arbitrator, and is a frequent lecturer and author for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.  Mr. Mathews has been recognized as a “New Jersey Super Lawyer”® in 2005, 2006, and 2008 by the publisher of New Jersey Monthly and Law and Politics magazines and holds an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell.  Mr. Mathews has been a solo practitioner since April, 2007.  Prior to 2007, he was Of Counsel at Blank Rome LLP (1992-2007), a Litigation Partner at Apell, Mathews & Detrick, PC (1976-1992), and a United States Magistrate Judge (1983-1988) (part-time).
