BIOGRAPHY
Deirdre Richards joined the law firm of Lamm Rubenstone in 2009 as an attorney specializing in Creditors’ Rights, Commercial Litigation and Bankruptcy Litigation.
EXPERIENCE
Ms. Richards began her career as a law clerk for the Honorable Gene D. Cohen, Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County from August, 1989 to August, 1990. In 1990, Ms. Richards went to work for the United States Department of Justice, Office of the United States Trustee for the Central District of California in Los Angeles, California. In 1994, when she was an Attorney-Advisor, she left the public sector to represent private clients. Ms. Richards joined Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen’s Bankruptcy and Litigation Departments, where she was an attorney until 1998.

For the last ten years, Ms. Richards has gained tremendous experience representing secured, unsecured creditors and creditors’ committees and, to a lesser extent, corporate debtors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. Most recently, Ms. Richards worked as an associate at Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel, where she represented creditors in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy cases, and litigated bankruptcy disputes in Pennsylvania and Delaware Bankruptcy Courts until she left there in 2009, and joined Lamm Rubenstone.
BAR ADMISSIONS:
Ms. Richards is admitted by the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania (1989), New Jersey (2001) and Delaware (2002). She is also admitted to practice in the District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Districts of New Jersey and Delaware. Additionally, Ms Richards is admitted to the Northern District of Texas, and the Central District of Illinois.
